2.0L Thermostat Quad-Ring Seal (square cross-section)

This special square-section O-ring seals the thermostat to the thermostat housing in the 2.0L Ford SOHC “Pinto” engine:

• Note that this O-ring seal is designed to fit the original Ford housing, which has been unavailable for many years. Aftermarket or homemade housings may not have a deep enough recess to accept this seal.
• Thermostat rubber ring: Cosworth YB 2wd & Ford SOHC Pinto
• Ford OEM part # E853100 S
• Sold together with the Water Outlet Gasket (Part FT781) and Thermostat Retaining Snap Ring (Part FT781C) in the Thermostat Housing Gasket Kit (Part FT782K), or sold separately.
