Top quality driveshaft or half-shaft, commonly used in Van Diemen F2000 or F1600 cars with “widetrack” suspension and DP08 F2000 cars:
- 21-3/8″ or 54.29cm total length.
- 30-spline to fit GKN style GI69 Tripod Joint, 30-spline fits Van Diemen ’94 thru-current, Citation, FE, FE2, Pro Mazda, Swift 008.
- Gun-drilled and weighs 3.25lbs.
- Made from 300M, an ultra-high-strength, low-alloy steel (modified 4340) known for exceptional strength and toughness. Typical tensile strength of 280-305 kilopounds psi (ksi) and a 230 ksi yield strength. It features high hardenability, good fatigue strength, and is commonly used in aerospace landing gear, motorsports, and high-performance shafting.
- Finished in black oxide.
- Rounded ends to nest with driveshaft abutments: 99D2013/Z & 99D2014.
This is the highest quality driveshaft we carry in terms of quality and price:
-
- Our mid-level option is 99D0001JBW. Lower cost and actually weighs 0.35lbs less due to a larger gun-drilled hole, but is not 300M material. It is heat treated steel.
- Lowest cost option is part 99D0001J. This is not as strong (not 300M steel) and ends are not as rounded to nest as well in the abutments, but the weight is in between 99D0001JFF and 99D0001JBW.
