3/8″-24 Thread Small Turnbuckle, Van Diemen Front Track Rods & Rear Top Wishbones

3/8″-24 Turnbuckle for suspension track rods and wishbones:

• 3/8″-24 male right hand thread into track rod/ wishbone and 3/8″-24 female left hand thread for rod end (example XAB-5T).
• Comes complete with AN316-6R jam nut.
• Commonly used in Van Diemen and Elan DP08 front track rods (steering rods) and rear top wishbones to provide neutral rotation point between rod ends/ aero tube.
• Made from heat treated steel with black oxide finish.
• 2-5/8″ long.
• Larger 1/2″-20 turnbuckle is also available.
• Recommend rotating on a regular basis to avoid consistent stress in one direction. Also recommend replacing if over-stressed due to hitting curbs overly hard or involved in an accident in that area of the car. Due to design, the neck of the turnbuckle is the weakest point of the assembly where all stress is focused.
