6-pack, Straight -3 AN Hose End with 3/8″-24 Thread Female End, Swivel Type, Stainless Steel

Six (6) each of our reusable stainless steel straight fitting designed for use with -3 AN hoses. Overall savings from buying individually at BKRF-0303SS. Typically used in brake or clutch line applications. Other applications include hydraulic clutches and transmissions, mechanical gauges, nitrous-oxide lines, power steering, air conditioning, and hydraulic systems.

Machined from stainless steel rather than anodized aluminum for brake and clutch service, where thread galling, seat deformation, and vibration fatigue — not static burst pressure — are the real failure modes. Rated for use with -3AN PTFE/stainless braided line to 4,000 psi working pressure and 12,000 psi burst. Aluminum hose ends are widely flagged as unsuitable for hydraulic brake systems; stainless is the correct specification.

These are swivel type fittings. The female threaded end can spin freely of the body, making it perfect for tightening and not inducing torque in the hose end.

These fittings are reusable, although the brass (olive) sleeve must be replaced each time a fitting is reused. Additional brass sleeves can be found here at part 60-699030.
