Stock steering rack now available to avoid the long lead times required on custom-made racks:

• After many years of ordering these racks we’ve found a common size that was frequently ordered. That size is now available as a stocking item for immediate delivery.
• The specifications for this rack are as follows: A=18″ B=13″ C=10″ D=1.5″ T=1/2-20 (see drawing).
• The rack travels 2.54 inches for each full revolution of the pinion, with 3 inches of total rack travel.
• 9/16″x36 spline pinion, lightweight aluminum alloy housing, and steel rack bar.
• This rack is an excellent choice for original construction such as sports racers and Formula SAE cars.
• Weighs just 5 pounds.
