AN960 Flat Washers (100 pack)

A staple of motorsport, aircraft, mechanical, and military use, AN960 flat washers have smooth, parallel faces and come in two thicknesses: Standard 0.063″ thick, or “Light” or “L” 0.032″ thick.

Applications:

• Bearing Surface: Used under nuts to distribute the load and prevent damage to the underlying material. If proper torque is exceeded, they will deform to help protect the parts from damage.
• Shims: Used as shims to adjust the grip length of bolts or to ensure proper alignment.
• Positioning: Used with castle nuts to adjust their position relative to cotter pin holes in bolts and clevis pins.

Military Standard: The “AN” designation (for Army-Navy) indicates that they meet U.S. military specifications (MILSPEC).
