Wilwood’s temperature strips provide an easy, accurate, and affordable method of recording observed on-track temperatures of brake calipers or other components:

• Key areas to apply these self-adhesive strips include brake calipers, transmission/ differential housings, engine covers, exhaust-adjacent bodywork (like lower wings), and suspension components such as uprights and wishbones.
• The adhesive-backed strips can be attached to any clean, smooth surface to record peak temperatures that occur during sessions.
• The temperatures are marked for both Fahrenheit and Celsius with the range of 250° to 536° F and 121° to 280° C.
• Note the 286° F range of the temperature strips; many generic and competitor strips only have 100° F or less range.
• The indicator color changes to black when a new, or higher temperature level is observed.
