Cartek FIA 8874-2019 Rectangular Rain/ Brake light:

• This rectangular rain light from Cartek is homologated to the latest FIA 8874-2019 standard (note FIA holographic sticker on back of light).

• It features 15 high-intensity red LEDs in a tough but lightweight one-piece resin molding (IP65 rated).
  • The LEDs are arranged in a 5 x 3 grid pattern. Each LED measures 9.5mm (3/8″) diameter for an FIA-specified 40 square centimeter lighting surface. Multiple circuits ensure that even if any one LED is lost, the light will still meet FIA standards.
  • 120 grams or 0.26lbs
• The compact size (3-9/16″ x 2-1/4″) makes it easy to mount anywhere, either vertically or horizontally.
• The dual-function light can be wired to flash at 4 Hz or be a solid steady light.
• Add a DPDT switch (sold separately) to switch between modes, or add a brake light switch (sold separately) to use the steady mode as a brake light.
• Two stainless steel studs (M6 threads) on the back of the unit make mounting easy.
• The back of the housing is covered with a 3mm thick foam pad to absorb vibration.
• 190mm mil-spec cable (Type55 22awg wiring). The 3-conductor cable also comes out the back of the housing, so a third hole may need to be drilled in your panel.
• Runs on 11.3 to 15.6 volts DC power and draws 700mA at 12.5V.
• Made in the UK.
• FIA 8874-2019 homologated (RL.009.22), meets SCCA requirements for racing use. Not DOT approved for street use.
