DP08 Billet 7075-T6 Aluminum Upright; Radial Mount Caliper

Billet aluminum, clear anodized upright for Elan DP08 cars:

• Made from 7075-T6 aluminum; a super-high-strength aluminum alloy. Prized for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, making it a top choice for demanding aerospace, defense, and high-performance structural applications like aircraft and motorsports parts. Its zinc-based composition and T6 heat treatment boosts strength, hardness, and fatigue resistance. Although it has lower corrosion resistance than some other aluminum types, thus why we had them clear anodized.
• Late model Van Diemen’s could convert to using these uprights if desired. Would take radial mount calipers and new front steering arm, but the hub and bottom pin are the same.
• Uses radial mount brake calipers. Caliper mount ears are threaded for 10mm x 1.50 thread.
• Uses 8 x 8-32 buttonhead socket cap screws, 3/8″ to 1/2″ long to attached to upright.
• 5/16″-24 threads for the steering arm.
• 10-32 threads for the inboard aero discs if utilized.
• Uses wheel bearing retaining ring DP08-10-012
• Uses bottom pin DP08-10-024.
• Compatible for all four corners, left and right; front and rear.
• Bare casting weighs 5lbs.
