Ford 2.0L SOHC “Pinto” engine oil pan gasket set includes:
- Two (2) oil pan rail gaskets (right and left hand).
- Right hand Ford OEM part number 71HM 6710A1 A
- Left hand Ford OEM part number: 71HM 6711A1 A
- The sump rails are manufactured from cork. This differs from the competition gasket set FT793KC which uses a controlled swell blue Beta jointing twin laminate gasket material. This material partly absorbs the retained fluid and swells, making the clamp tighter which in turn increases the sealabilty. This is what makes this a competition set; much higher quality than regular cork material gaskets.
- Two (2) rubber end (saddle) seals (front and rear).
- Same for both front and rear.
- Part # SC762. Ford OEM part number 71HM 6722 AA.
- Two (2) crankshaft bearing caps also known as rear main cap chocks.
- One (1) oil pump gasket, also known as the gasket for the oil pickup.
- Part # FT789.
- One (1) gasket for the drain oil plug, also known as the sump drain plug washer.
- Part # FT790.
This entire kit is part # FT793K. This set provides a few more seals and gaskets over alternate kits such as part #’s 174-08 and S15C.
