Formula Race Parts LD20 Brake Pads, X28 Compound

These Formula Race Parts brand X28 Compound LD20 brake pads are our midpoint pads in terms of bite and heat tolerance.  A balanced, progressive compound with excellent modulation for Formula Ford, Formula Continental, F2000 and Sports 2000 cars running the LD20 plate size:

• Compatible with any caliper using the standard LD20 plate size:
  • Wilwood plate 5214 (also 5222)
  • PFC plate 7720
  • AP Racing CP2399D43
• Commonly fitted to original AP/Lockheed LD20 calipers and to the Wilwood WLD20 replacement caliper.
• X28 is our medium compound and the sensible starting point for most LD20 applications. Running a heavier car or need more bite and heat tolerance from brake fade? Step up to our LD20-X75-IM compound, this has the most bite and fade resistance between our lineup of X28, X23, X75. If you have  a smaller Formula Ford running a fast flowing track with no need to stomp on the brakes, we would recommend to try our LD20-X23-IM compound.
  • LD20-X23-IM Hardest pad with the least bite of the three options, very long lasting. Good for momentum tracks with limited threshold breaking, test days/ school cars where you want the pads to last
  • LD20-X28-IM Great all purpose pad for most racing conditions.
  • LD20-X75-IM= Highest bite/ fade resistance, perfect for sprint races at tracks with many threshold hard braking zones.
• For use with steel and iron rotors.
