Front Skid Plate, ’96-up V.D. & DP08

Save the bottom front of your chassis and floor! This front skid plate fits ’96-up Van Diemen and DP08 formula cars, but can easily fit many others with similar dimensions:

• As a sacrificial piece, this skid plate helps prevent damage to your frame and floor from kerbing, rumble strips, rocks, debris, or other obstructions. This updated version is welded at the corners and gives wrap around protection to sides of chassis as well.
• Made of 0.05″ thick stainless steel.
• 1′-7/16″ internal width.
• 2″ length front to back.
• 4″ between bolt holes center-to-center.
• Weighs 0.4lbs.
• The original design skid plate that does not protect the sides of the chassis and weighs 0.2lbs more due to 0.04″ thicker stainless steel can be found at part number 08A2001V1.
