Front Track Rod, Complete-Ready to Bolt On, Van Diemen “Widetrack” & DP08

Complete ready to bolt on Van Diemen “widetrack” front track rod (steering rod):

• Used on both F2000 and F1600 Van Diemen ’01-up cars using the widetrack suspension. Also fits the Elan DP08 Will fit on all cars which have converted to widetrack suspension.
• Van Diemen started using the widetrack suspension in 2001 and it quickly was decided that it was a good improvement.
  • The wider track gave a feeling of stability by adding 1.5″ on each side of the suspension to overall width.
• Saves about $20 over buying all the parts individually.
• Includes:
  • 1 x Track Rod, part 99H0002.
    • Track rod weight bare: 1.1 lbs.
    • Track rod only total length: 18-3/16″
    • Female 5/16″-24 RH threads on inboard end and female 3/8″-24 RH threads on outboard end.
  • 1 x  Aurora AM-4T-9 rod end and jam nut for inboard side to steering rack.
  • 1 x 3/8″-24 RH thread 97C0011R turnbuckle that includes jam nut.
  • 1 x 97C0010R banjo rod end (5/16″ bore) with jam nut on outboard end. Threads via Left Hand 3/8″-24 male thread into the female end of the turnbuckle and then is connected to the steering arm via rod end reducers (95C0016R) and AN4 bolt.
