Front Track Rod, Van Diemen “Widetrack” & DP08

Van Diemen “widetrack” front track rod (steering rod):

• Used on both F2000 and F1600 Van Diemen ’01-up cars using the widetrack suspension. Also fits the Elan DP08 Will fit on all cars which have converted to widetrack suspension.
• Van Diemen started using the widetrack suspension in 2001 and it quickly was decided that it was a good improvement.
  • The wider track gave a feeling of stability by adding 1.5″ on each side of the suspension to overall width.
• Track rod weight bare: 1.1 lbs.
• Total length: 18-3/16″
• Female 5/16″-24 RH threads on inboard end and 3/8″-24 RH threads on outboard end. All threads have been chased and ready for install!
• Uses the following parts for a complete assembly to connect steering rack out to front steering arm:
  • Aurora AM-4T-9 rod end on inboard side.
  • 3/8″-24 RH thread 97C0011R turnbuckle and 97C0010R banjo rod end on outboard end.
