One kit, every NAS bolt, AN960 washer and MS21042 jet nut on the car

Rebuilding a JS F3 means chasing dozens of individual fastener part numbers across nineteen sections of the spare parts catalogue. This kit collects all of them into a single order: 260 pieces — 50 NAS close tolerance shear bolts, 135 AN960 flat washers and 75 MS21042 jet nuts, in the exact quantities the car uses.

Quantities are built up from the Ligier JS F3 Spare Parts Catalogue V3.0, multiplied out to a complete car — both front corners, both rear corners, front and rear anti roll bars, both dampers front and rear, the steering system, engine mounting, front underfloor, engine cover, both sidepods and the shifting command system.

Important: NAS1304 and NAS1305 have been renumbered

The catalogue lists these bolts as NAS1304 and NAS1305. Those numbers are inactive for new design and have been superseded by NAS6604 and NAS6605 respectively. The dash number does not change and neither does the bolt — same grip, same overall length, same 5/16″-24 or 1/4″-28 thread, same alloy steel, same 160 KSI minimum tensile rating, same cadmium plating. A catalogue calling for NAS1305-19 is asking for what is now NAS6605-19, and that is what ships in this kit.

NAS Close Tolerance Shear Bolts — 50 pieces

Every bolt is undrilled shank and undrilled head, alloy steel heat treated to 160,000 psi minimum tensile, cadmium plated per QQ-P-416 Type II Class 2, as originally specified.

AN960 Flat Washers — 135 pieces

Note the distinction between standard and thin washers. A part number ending in L is the thin version and is roughly half the thickness of the standard washer in the same size. The catalogue specifies them individually and they are not interchangeable — several joints use one of each, and swapping them changes your stack height and therefore your torque.

MS21042 Jet Nuts — 75 pieces

MS21042 is the all-metal self-locking reduced-hex nut. There is no nylon insert, so it is temperature tolerant and reusable within the limits of its prevailing torque. Check the locking feature on any nut you intend to reuse; if it spins on freely by hand it has done its service.

What this kit does not include

This kit covers the three families named above only. It does not include the metric SHCS, FHCS and BHCS cap screws, the RSWHM Schnorr washers, the FWM flat washers, the HM14 jet nuts, the AN316 jam nuts, or the rod ends, spherical bearings and tethers. Those are separate part families — contact us if you would like a quote covering them as well.

• The front push rod bolt is supplied full length. The catalogue calls for it trimmed to 30.5mm — cut to suit your installation before fitting.

• Always torque to the values in your Ligier user manual. Fastener replacement does not change specified torque.
