Manufactured to the German aerospace standard DIN LN 29671 (self-locking, double-lug anchor nuts rated for service temperatures up to 235°C / 455°F), these are the same nut plates used throughout the aircraft industry — and for the same reasons they’ve become standard practice on formula cars, sports racers, and GT cars: light weight, all-metal vibration-proof thread locking, and permanent installation that survives hundreds of service cycles.

Why Fixed (Non-Floating)?

The non-floating design holds the threaded barrel rigidly in position — ideal for precisely located mounting points where you control the hole position, such as jig-drilled brackets, floor mounting hardware, undertray attachment, and bodywork fastener points. The fixed barrel gives a solid, rattle-free anchor with no float cage to fatigue. Installation Tips

Drill the bolt clearance hole first, then use the nut plate itself (threaded onto a bolt through the panel) as the drill template for the two rivet holes — this guarantees alignment on a fixed nut plate. Rivet with 3/32″ or metric-equivalent solid or blind rivets depending on panel material and access. For countersunk installations, dimple or countersink the panel to keep the mounting flush.
