Pagid Racing 1749-shape brake pads, available in two RST compounds. The pad shape, dimensions and fitment are identical between them — select the compound from the drop-down; only the friction material changes.

Choosing a compound

Compound Character Typical Use
RST 2 (part # S1749 T02 001) Medium-high friction coefficient, good initial bite, a mild progressive torque curve and good pedal feel. A semi-metallic, resin-bonded material with steel fibers whose cold friction and bite suit rally and NASCAR, and which is also recommended for GT and touring car racing where higher temperatures are an issue. GT & touring circuit, rally tarmac, NASCAR; rear with RST 1 front
RST 4 (part # S1749 T04 001) A medium-friction compound with high temperature resistance and high fade resistance, at the cost of shorter pad life. A semi-metallic, resin-bonded material with steel and acrylic fibers, developed primarily for open-wheel and formula cars and best used with slicks. Also used as a rear-axle material for rally and front-engine cars, often paired with an RST 1 front. Open-wheel & formula cars; rear axle for rally & front-engine cars, NASCAR on long ovals

Note: it is typical and normal to see the red paint on the outside of the pads turn yellowish after high-heat runs.
