The dual-throat Weber 38 DGS is a popular upgrade on many cars because it is easy to tune, very flexible, and dead reliable:

• Small performance advantage over the 32/36 DGV (previously the standard carburetor for F1600/ FC/ S2000 classes).
• The Synchronized throttles (DGS) provide more low-end torque than the progressive DGV series, with only a little impact on fuel mileage.
• You can tune it to work well with anything from stock 1500cc street engines to modified 2-liter racing engines or even stock 6-cylinder Jeep engines.
• Rated at 280 CFM flow.
• This version is equipped with a Manually-operated cold-starting choke (DGMS). It is unmodified and “not race-prepped”, with the choke linkage intact.
