Wilwood’s AERO6 Big Brake Front Kit (P/N 140-14816) pairs six-piston AERO6-ST radial mount calipers with the high cooling capacity of a 14.00″ dynamically mounted GT directional-vane rotor to deliver a complete brake package for unrestricted road race competition. Thermlock pistons resist fade and extend service life by reducing heat transfer from the pads to the caliper body, fluid, and seals, while the AERO6-ST’s thick-pad design (20mm) increases pad life over long stints. The rotor mounts to the hub with a forged aluminum hat, and radial mount brackets secure the caliper to the spindle in the OE location without modification. The kit is completed with high-temperature, high-friction race compound pads, premium-grade fasteners, and stainless steel braided flexlines.
