Wilwood’s Forged Superlite 6R Big Brake Front Kit (P/N 140-14965) is a purpose-built road racing package for the 2000-2009 Honda S2000. The six-piston FSL6R/ST calipers use a forged-aluminum body with Type III Mil-Spec hard anodizing for superior bore wear resistance, paired with Thermlock pistons and internal damper springs that reduce heat transfer to the pads and fluid for consistent pedal feel throughout a long stint. A 12.88″ Spec-37 iron GT directional-vane rotor is dynamically mounted to a lightweight forged aluminum hat to minimize unsprung weight while providing strong thermal capacity. The kit bolts to the factory spindle location using premium-grade mounting brackets and fasteners — no modification required — and ships complete with high-temperature endurance race pads and stainless steel braided flexlines.
