Wilwood’s complete Forged Narrow Superlite 6R (FNSL6R) big brake front kit (P/N 140-16093), configured for dedicated road racing on all 2006–2015 Mazda MX-5 Miatas (NC chassis). This is a race-winning bolt-on package that mounts to the factory disc spindle in the stock caliper location with no modifications required — it does require 17″ or larger wheels with additional inside clearance to accommodate the larger-than-stock brake package.

The kit pairs six-piston FNSL6R/ST radial-mount calipers with a forged aluminum body and Type III Mil-Spec hard anodized, medium gray finish. Hard anodizing provides superior wear resistance in the piston bores and high resistance to abrasion and corrosion. Thermlock® pistons reduce heat transfer from the pads to increase fade resistance and extend service life by decreasing temperatures in the caliper body, fluid, and seals. Internal damper springs and controlled-retraction, high-temperature piston seals assure consistent pedal height from start to finish.

Spec-37 alloy, GT competition series 12.88″ diameter directional-vane rotors are fixed-mounted to the OE hubs with weight-saving forged aluminum hats, minimizing unsprung and rotating weight while providing high cooling efficiency and rugged thermal stability under sustained high-heat competition. Premium-grade mounting hardware secures the calipers in the stock location. The system is completed with high-temperature, high-friction BP-35 endurance compound race pads, and stainless steel braided flexlines are included for the installation.

Important Notes

• This is a road race kit and contains high-temperature racing pads – extended low-temperature street use will cause premature rotor and pad wear.
• May fit some 17″ wheels – check the wheel clearance diagram in the kit installation instructions before purchase.
