Wilwood’s complete Forged Narrow Superlite 6R (FNSL6R) big brake front kit (P/N 140-16094), engineered for dedicated road racing on all 1988–1996 Chevrolet Corvette C4 models using the factory disc spindle. Mounting brackets, including all premium-grade fasteners, secure the calipers in the stock location without spindle modification. Requires 17-inch or larger wheels designed with additional inside clearance to accommodate the larger-than-stock brake package; always check the wheel clearance diagram before ordering.

The kit pairs FNSL6R-ST six-piston radial-mount calipers with a forged aluminum body and Type III Mil-Spec hard anodized, medium gray finish for superior wear resistance and corrosion resistance in the piston bores. Thermlock® pistons reduce heat transfer from the pads to the caliper body, fluid, and seals, increasing fade resistance and extending service life. Internal damper springs and controlled-retraction, high-temperature piston seals assure consistent pedal height from start to finish. Spec-37 alloy 12.88″ GT 48 curved-vane, GT slotted directional rotors are fixed-mounted to the OE hubs with weight-saving forged aluminum hats, minimizing unsprung and rotating weight while providing high cooling efficiency and thermal stability in sustained high-heat competition. The system is completed with high-temperature, high-friction BP-35 race compound pads (7416 plate) and stainless steel braided flexlines — everything needed for a complete front axle installation.
