Wilwood 160-16923 GT 40 Vane Slotted Rotor – 11.75″ Spec-37 Iron

Wilwood GT Series competition rotor (P/N 160-16923) — the 11.75″ diameter, 40-vane slotted iron rotor used on the front of the Forged Dynapro Big Brake kit for the 1990–2005 Mazda MX-5 Miata. Cast from Wilwood’s proprietary Spec-37 alloy iron for superior thermal stability and crack resistance under sustained competition heat. Suitable for High temperature racing to street use.

The GT Series slotted face cleans and de-gasses the pad interface for smoother engagement and improved pedal response, inhibits pad glaze and irregular compound build-up, and sheds heat through the 40 straight internal vanes. The result is consistent, fade-resistant braking with reduced rotating and unsprung weight.

Specifications

Genuine Wilwood rotor, sold and supported by Formula Race Parts. Front rotor for the Miata Forged Dynapro Big Brake kit (140-17936); two required per car. Mounts to hat 170-17941 and runs with caliper 120-16505. This is the rotor ring (disc) only — mounting hat sold separately.
