Wilwood 170-16199 Big Brake Dynamic Lug Drive Hat, Short Offset — Corvette C5/C6, Cadillac XLR 2004-2010

Forged aluminum rotor hat with a Type III hard anodized finish, used with Wilwood’s Dynamic Lug Drive mounting system. Spring-loaded, replaceable stainless steel inserts in each lug-drive slot protect the hat from wear as brake torque loads the rotor against it. A single snap-ring retains the rotor — no bolts to torque or safety-wire, and the rotor is free to expand and contract independent of the hat through heat cycles. As used in the AERO6 Big Brake Front Kit, AERO6 Lug Drive Front Kit, and AERO4 Lug Drive Front Kit for the Corvette C5/C6.
