Top Rear Wishbone, Van Diemen & DP08 Widetrack, Upgrade introduced September 2025, 3 Options

Upgraded widetrack top rear wishbone options for late model Van Diemen’s and Elan DP08’s. These new wishbone options were introduced in September 2025:

Full Wishbone options includes the main top rear wishbone and toe link option of your choice. Just the main wishbone by itself or just the toe link piece can be ordered separately via the drop down menu:

• Main wishbone includes 44″ of -3 stainless steel braided PTFE brake line and 1 x installed swaged PWB-5TG spherical bearing for connection to the rear upper gearbox clevis and 1 x installed swaged PWB-6TG spherical bearings for steering arm connection.
• Main wishbone has reinforced brake line entry & exit openings for brake line to be run internally within the wishbone.
• All parts are interchangeable between right and left side of the car.

• Three toe link options available to choose from in drop down menu based on customer preference with main goal of reducing the fore and aft sprung load that can sometimes exist in the OEM top rear “Z” wishbones:
  1. Round tube using only rod ends (example XAM-5T and XAB-5T). This is the simplest design and removes the need to use the turnbuckle.
     • Entire wishbone assembly requires 2 x XAM-5T and 1 x XAB-5T rod ends to be complete. Not included.
  2. Aero tubing with 3/8″-24 right hand thread for use with small 3/8″-24 turnbuckle (97C0011R) and rod end (example XAB-5T). Includes 1 x installed swaged PWB-5TG spherical bearing in toe link for connection to main upper wishbone.
     • Entire wishbone assembly requires the following (not included with this item):
       • 1 x 97C0011R turnbuckle and 1 x XAB-5T for toe link.
       • 1 x XAM-5T rod end for connection to forward upper bellhousing clevis.
  3. Aero tubing with 1/2″-20 right hand thread for use with larger 1/2″-20 turnbuckle (00C2008) and rod end (example XAB-5T). Includes 1 x installed swaged PWB-5TG spherical bearing in toe link for connection to main upper wishbone.
     • Entire wishbone assembly requires the following (not included with this item):
       • 1 x 00C2008 turnbuckle and 1 x XAB-5T for toe link.
       • 1 x XAM-5T rod end for connection to forward upper bellhousing clevis.

Aero tube options require the turnbuckle to keep the aero tube flat when adjusting rear toe.
