Wilwood 140-17936 Forged Dynapro Big Brake Front Brake Kit (Race) – Mazda MX-5 Miata

Wilwood’s complete Forged Dynapro Big Brake front kit (P/N 140-17936), configured for dedicated road racing on the 1990–2005 Mazda MX-5 Miata. A race-winning bolt-on package that mounts in the stock caliper location with no modifications, requiring 15″ wheels with additional inside clearance for the larger brake package.

The kit pairs four-piston DPL/ST forged aluminum calipers (Type III hard anodize, Thermlock® pistons) with 11.75″ Spec-37 GT-series 40-vane rotors on weight-saving forged aluminum lug-mount hats. Internal damper springs and controlled-retraction high-temperature seals hold consistent pedal height start to finish. Caliper piston volumes suit OE boosters and master cylinders, and convert easily to manual/balance-bar setups with the correct master cylinders.
