Wilwood 140-16202 AERO6 Lug Drive Front Brake Kit (Race)

AERO6R/ST six-piston radial-mount race calipers are coupled with the high cooling capacity of 14.00in dynamically-mounted Spec-37 GT directional vane rotors for the ultimate front brake package on unrestricted road race Corvettes. The AERO6R/ST caliper uses a forged aluminum body with a Type III Mil-Spec, medium gray hard anodized finish for superior wear resistance in the piston bores. This wide-body caliper accepts 20mm thick pads for extended service life. Thermlock® pistons reduce heat transfer from the pads to increase fade resistance and extend service life. Internal damper springs and controlled-retraction, high-temperature piston seals assure consistent pedal height from start to finish.

Spec-37 alloy GT series directional vane rotors are dynamically mounted using Wilwood's Lug Drive mounting system to hard-anodized forged aluminum hats. Mounting brackets, including all premium-grade fasteners, secure the calipers to the uprights in the stock location with no modifications required. This championship-proven system is completed with high temperature, high friction race compound pads selected by application. Requires the separate purchase of a stainless steel braided flexline kit ordered according to model year.
