Wilwood’s Forged Narrow Superlite 6R Big Brake Front Kit (P/N 140-16848) delivers a dedicated road racing brake package for the 10th-generation Honda Civic. The six-piston FNSL6R/ST radial mount calipers use a forged-aluminum body with Type III Mil-Spec hard anodizing for superior bore wear resistance, paired with Thermlock pistons that reduce heat transfer to the pads and fluid for consistent pedal feel over a long stint. A 12.88″ Spec-37 iron GT directional-vane rotor is dynamically mounted to a lightweight forged aluminum hat to minimize unsprung weight while delivering strong thermal capacity. The kit bolts to the factory spindle location using premium-grade mounting brackets and fasteners — no modification required — and is completed with high-temperature endurance race pads and stainless steel braided flexlines.
