Wilwood’s complete AERO6 Big Brake Lug Drive front kit (P/N 140-18191), engineered for the 2020-2025 Chevrolet Corvette C8 (all trims using the factory disc spindle). This is a championship-proven, bolt-on big brake package built for unrestricted road race competition — it mounts to the stock spindle location with no modifications required, using premium-grade mounting brackets and fasteners. This kit may fit 19-inch and larger wheels; always check the wheel clearance diagram in the installation instructions before ordering.

The kit pairs AERO6R/ST six-piston radial-mount calipers with a forged aluminum body and Type III Mil-Spec hard anodized, medium gray finish for superior wear resistance and corrosion resistance. This latest AERO6R/ST body is wider than standard to accept 20mm thick pads for longer service life in endurance events. Thermlock® pistons reduce heat transfer from the pads to increase fade resistance, and internal damper springs with controlled-retraction, high-temperature piston seals assure consistent pedal height from start to finish. Caliper piston volumes are matched for full compatibility with the OE master cylinder output and ABS controls, and are also compatible with manual brake conversions using an appropriately sized balance-bar master cylinder.

Spec-37 alloy 15.00″ GT 72 curved-vane directional rotors are burnished and dynamically balanced at the factory, then dynamically mounted using Wilwood’s new Lug-Drive mounting system to forged aluminum, Type III hard anodized hats. The Lug-Drive system lets the rotor move independently of the hat as it expands and contracts through heat cycles, eliminating thermal distortion, pad knock-back, and rotor drag. The system is completed with high-temperature, high-friction BP-30 race compound pads (6620 plate, .80″ thick for extra pad life in endurance racing) and stainless steel braided flexlines.

• This is a road race kit and contains high-temperature racing pads – extended low-temperature street use will cause premature rotor and pad wear.
