Good To Know

• Bed them in. Perform Wilwood’s burnish procedure — a series of 8–10 hard stops from 55–65 mph down to 25 mph with 20–30 seconds of cooling between — to lay an even transfer layer before hard use.
• Competition compound. BP-30 is a race pad. It performs best at temperature; for a street-driven car that also tracks occasionally, a dual-sport compound (e.g. BP-20/ProMatrix) may suit better — ask us.
